I had an old bangle bracelet which needed a bit of a revamp, and decided to continue with the Liberty theme by covering it with some Tana Lawn fabric. Random fact for the day, the fabric was named after Lake Tana in Ethiopia. All you need are some strips of fabric, around 1cm wide. The length doesn’t matter so much as you can add more strips as needed. I did toy with the idea with using different fabrics – maybe next time 🙂
You then need to paint a thin layer of mod podge/ PVA all over the bangle (inside and out) a section at a time. Then wrap the fabric tightly and evenly around the bangle. The whole thing took maybe around 10 minutes to do, and I love it.
If anyone loves me lots, there is a posher version of a Liberty bracelet available here. A girl can dream!
